Scribus is useful, free and reliable open source page layout program (DTP) with the aim of producing conformant commercial grade output in PDF and Postscript., along with extensive support for graphical PDF form and PDF presentations. 
While the goals of the program are ease of use and simple easy to understand tools, Scribus offers support for professional publishing features, such as CMYK colors, easy PDF creation and Encapsulated Postscript import/export. Pros: As far as what I need the program to do at this time, NONE.
Cons: Opening an existing document gives you a blank document in Scribus--it does not show anything in the document you have opened. And the Contact & Support page on the Scribus site provides NO contact method or route. This program is useless to me as it is and I can't send an email with questions to a pretty picture on a web page.
Other Thoughts: Do they want feedback or not? And I need to work layout on existing documents now. The program doesn't want to allow that. Not worth the price, negative value in fact because of the waste of time trying to do what I needed to start doing.
